OPI - Congeniality is My Middle Name - Miss Universe Collection

Hello everyone,

These pictures were taken in august, during the summer holidays, Bucarest...

I really loved this polish and is the only one my mother really liked - so now it's more than precious for me. Of course, at that time I still had my long-holidays-nails :)

I'd describe the colour as a berry base with fuchsia glass-fleck shimmer! Gorgeous. It does look a lot like The One that Got Away from the Katy Perry collection, but this one is a bit lighter and slightly more pink. I'll probably do a comparison later on this week. Opaque in 2 coats, it's a got a very good formula and dries very well.

So, here I'm wearing 2 coats of OPI Congeniality is My Middle Name + 1 coat of Seche Vite:

In conclusion:

Application: 5/5
Formula: 4/5
Finish: 4.5/5
Drying time: 4/5
Opacity: 4/5

Overall: 4.5/5

Thank you everyone for watching!

Hugs!

OPI - The One That Got Away

Hello everyone,

How you've been doing? For me this is a very busy week, not only busy at the job, but I also have some job interviews ;) This is a good period for aircraft structural engineers, because there is a lot of movement in the industry and there are some extremely interesting job opportunities... :) I'm only wearing OPI Samoan Sand these days :D I feel the urge to paint my nails orange (I've just received China Glaze Papaya Punch and I'm so excited to try it ooon :D), but I can't :D

Anyways, this could be my Pink-Wednesday or maybe Berry-Wednesday? :) Not sure, beacuse The One That Got Away has a berry-red base with a lot of fuchsia shimmer inside. A very nice polish, but I don't know why I don't find it extraordinary.  It's a bit sheer, so you'll need up to 3 coats to make it opaque. The shine is however very, very beatutiful.

Here I'm wearing 3 coats of OPI The One That Got Away, no top coat:
Taken in the sun.

And for a "classic" look (classic because the Katy Perry Collection was released together with the Black Mesh, that I don't own), I've added one coat of China Glaze Black Mesh + quick dry shiny top coat (NailTek Quicken):

Overall, I like this polish, but I think my favourites of the collection remain Not Like the Movies and Teenage Dream.I also own Last Friday Night, but I'm not sure I'm goning to swatch it alone, because it is more of a layering polish... We'll see. Now  I really gotta go to sleep...
Good night everyone and sweet dreams ;)

See ya! Big hugs!!!

OPI Manicurist Of Seville

Hello everybody!

Today I'll show you one of the best quality nail polishes I've ever seen: OPI's Manicurist of Seville from the Espana Collection. It's an oldie, but I loved it so much when I've tried on at my friend Ruxi's home, I had to have it! I've actually purchased a lot of superb oldies recently. I'm not too much into everything that's new on the market, I love having beautiful polishes in my collection, even though they're quite old ;)
Anyway, polishes like this one are among the reasons why I'm into this addiction...
Everything about it is great. I really have no bad things to point out, it's just perfect.
Application - perfect!
Formula - whow! one of the best I've seen! So even, so like a cream, so rich and fully pigmented! If you know what you're doing you can get full opaque within one coat.
Drying time - very good
Finish: superb, one of the shiniest polishes I've had the occasion to put my hands on!

Just look at these pictures (please excuse my nasty cuticles, I'm treating them, they'll get better in a while, so please, try to ignore them and concentrate on the polish only , thank you soooo much! ;) )
